POSTER DESIGN
SAM BLACK CHURCH
Legendary Boston hardcore band Sam Black Church made a big comeback for their 35th anniversary, selling out at the famous Worcester Palladium. Their drummer, JR, asked me to design a teaser poster, as well as the final poster for the show, in the style of an 80s horror movie poster. Dreams do come true.
FLYER, SOCIALS, SHIRT & BEER
IVY BOY
For the album-release-show of his debut solo EP, “Ivy Boy” (A.K.A. Perry Eaton of Beeef) came to me looking for a flyer, some socials, a shirt and even a label for a beer that was going to be custom-brewed by the venue just for the show. If you haven’t been to Deep Cuts in Medford, it’s awesome. So is Ivy Boy.

BRANDING
LUISA FOR CAMBRIDGE
I created a brand for Luisa de Paula Santos, a local candidate for Cambridge School Committee, as well as several flyers and some lawn signs for her campaign. For her branding, I wanted to create a super-simple one-sheet that both another designer and Luia herself (not a designer) could follow and replicate. Judging by her website, I think she crushed it!

MAP DESIGN
RESIDENCE INN
For the Residence Inn on Tudor Wharf, I was asked to create an “adventure map” to help kids (and adults!) locate a number of historical dioramas hidden around the hotel, all which tell the story of the surrounding neighborhood of Charlestown. I decided to make it a bit a scavenger hunt, leading them by a trail of clues... 🔎👀

NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM
At BU’s AdLab, we were asked to develp a mock campaign for the New England Aquarium’s COVID-era seal show, in which you could Zoom with seals and interact with seal-trainers live. My copywriting partner Tim North and I took the idea of “it’s like the seals are in the room with you” a few steps further: “what if they’re...kinda overstaying their welcome?”[IMAGE]
